The Minnesota Dental Practice Act and other states’ recently passed statutes allow licensed dental assistants and hygienists to perform specific restorative procedures with personal supervision.

We now have experienced and seasoned Dental Assistants and Hygienists who can do restorative functions.

What does that mean? It means they can do treatments such as numbing your tooth, complete the second step of some of the less extensive fillings and put your final crown on. Our Restorative Functions Providers are no different than seeing a Physician’s Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner in a medical setting.

We feel fortunate to be part of the leading edge in dentistry and hope you are welcoming to their help and talents as well.

Note: that they have been professionally trained at the University of Minnesota or Minnesota State University, Mankato in addition to training from Dr. Jenny. We are so excited to offer a way to help our patients receive the care needed on a timelier basis. All of dentistry is understaffed and we are so fortunate to have a fun, full and talented team!
